Gadzooks! It’s another term at Dother Hall for Tallulah and her mates. But can they keep their minds on the arts with all those boys about…

After the thing-that-will-never-be-mentioned last term, Tallulah is keen to put all thoughts of Cain behind her. But that seems like that the last thing he wants.

Their performing arts college may have been saved by Honey’s mystery benefactor, but for how long is anyone’s guess. So will Tallulah finally get to wear those golden slippers of applause or will Dr Lightowler swoop down on her glory days?

And with Seth and Flossie forever snogging, Vaisey and Jack loved-up and Phil and Jo fondly biffing each other can Tallulah resist the call of her wild boy?

Don your craziest tights and Irish dance your way to some surprising and hilariously unexpected answers… -(Goodreads)
4.5 stars: Page agrees this book was wonderful, almost

I'm going to have to wait now for the next book in this series.. *grumbles* I hope there is another book( I can't actually find any information on whether there will be or not..) because it has made me laugh so much that it's definitely become one of my favourites! Then again, nothing beats a book that makes you laugh out loud.

The Taming of the Tights definitely made me do that again. In my review of the 2nd book I pointed out that I thought that it hadn't made me laugh as much as the 1st one did, but this book definitely fixed that. Since I kept bursting with laughter I had to explain to people why on earth I was behaving like a mad person with a book in their hands.
I think this series of books just proves to me that Louise Rennison has a gift for comedy. She is just so funny to the point where even the dedication at the beginning of the book makes you laugh. Like I said, that just shows she has an insane amount of talent to write comedy.

Since, for me, this is such a great part of the books, I must specially mention the sheep. For those of you who don't know what on earth I'm on about, Tallulah basically tried to sing The Sound of Music to them but they didn't like it, so now every time they see her they try and hide in a hedge. It might just be one of my favourite scenes in history. Sheep are extremely funny, my friends- take note.

CHARLIE. *squeals* He is so awesome and sweet and so are all the other boys. If you put them and the Tree Sisters together you pretty much get a level of craziness that's not even on the craziness scale. The potting-shed issue was just... indescribable amounts of fun to read about. If you don't know what I'm on about, shoo! Go read this book! Or...wait for the giveaway at the end..Hehe!
Oh, and the Teachers have to be mentioned. They're just crazy. Once you hear someone go one about 'bleeding feet' and 'the golden slippers of applause' you automatically end up thinking that.

I don't want to make this review too long because of what comes next so:
The Taming of the Tights is a book that you won't be forgetting anytime soon, especially because of those sheep..

What do Bloggers Think About Her Books?

"I think the reason her books are so popular, is to do with the fact that her characters do surreal things, but at the bottom you can empathize a little and laugh with them and other readers instead of at them." - Amy Bookworm

"They're hilarious, they cheer me up and they aren't cliché! " - Charli @ To Another World

"Her books are Hilarious!!! They are super funny and appeal to her audience e.g, teenage girls like me." - Gabby @ Bookmarks and Bookshelves
